Gary Unruh
Obituary
Gary D. Unruh, 65, died Sunday (Feb.
14, 2016) at Bethesda Nursing Home, Goessel. He was born January 12,
1951 in Goessel, the son of Ernest G. and Ruth Schmidt Unruh. He had
been a resident of Newton for the last 20 years, until he moved to
Bethesda Home a year ago. He was a member of Goessel Mennonite
Church. His parents were part of the group of parents who founded
Northview Developmental Services, Newton.
Survivors include his sister, Karen
(Glen) Ediger, North Newton, and a nephew, Brandan (Megan) Ediger,
Wichita.
He was preceded in death by his
parents.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m.
Wednesday at Bethesda Home Chapel, Goessel. Graveside services will
be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Goessel Mennonite Cemetery, with
funeral services to follow at 2 p.m. at the Bethesda Chapel. Memorial
contributions may be made to the Northview Foundation or Bethesda
Home, both in care of Miller-Ott Funeral Home, Goessel.
