Virginia Kass
Obituary
Virginia Davis Kass, 83, of Las Vegas,
passed away at home Friday, Feb. 19, 2016. She was born Dec. 25,
1932, in Newton, the daughter of Thomas and Ann Davis. She married
John Kass May 29, 1954, in Topeka.
She worked for the Santa Fe Railway for
43 years. She and John coached a women's fast pitch traveling team
and were also very involved in bowling leagues. Upon retirement and
moving to Las Vegas, she remained active in the bowling community and
was league secretary for 20 years.
She volunteered at UMC Auxiliary for
several years and served on their board. She was preceded in death by
her parents; brother, Jim Davis; and sister, Marilyn Davis Stagner.
She is survived by her husband, John Kass; their four daughters,
Debbie Brown (Tom Curry), Cindy Nusbaum, Patty Kass and Pam Hock
(Jeff); six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Celebration of her life will be at 11
a.m. Saturday (Feb. 27, 2016) at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne
Ave., Las Vegas. A luncheon to follow.

Hospice Care in Las Vegas. Virginia was a wonderful wife, mother and
friend to all who knew and loved her. She will be missed, but never
forgotten until we are all united again.
