Obituary
Virginia Delores Voth, 88, passed away
March 21, 2016, at Bethesda Home, Goessel. She was born Jan. 19,
1928, in Ness County, the daughter of Frank B. and Bertha Irene
(Squier) Casey. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Newton.
Virginia married Wilber Blackmore on
June 19, 1944. Unto this union was born three children: Robert,
Rebecca and Linda. They were later divorced.
Virginia married Orlando W. Voth on May
26, 1956. Unto this union was born three children: Wesley, Galen and
Brian. Orlando passed away on Oct. 13, 2006.
Virginia is survived by her sons,
Robert Blackmore of Newton, Wesley Voth of Wichita, Galen Voth of
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Brian (Gayle) Voth of Goessel; a
daughter, Linda (Danny) Schill of Moore, Oklahoma; a stepdaughter,
Janice (Garry) Winter of Wichita; a brother, Charles Donald Casey of
Newton; sisters Charlene Hill of Newton and Gayle Baumgartner of
Washington; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one
great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; husband Orlando W. Voth; ex-husband Wilber Blackmore;
daughter Rebecca Haile; siblings Rosalie Blue, James Casey and
Kathleen Werner; grandson James Allen Peters; and great-grandson
Joshua James Lovelady.
A parish rosary will be recited at 9:30
a.m. on Monday, April 11, 2016, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Newton.
Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. at the church,
with Father Nicholas Voelker officiating.
