Russell L. McCulloch

Russell L. McCulloch, 45, machinist, died Tuesday (May 15, 2001) at St. Francis Via Christi Medical Center in Wichita.

He was born Oct. 27, 1955, to Adrian and Luberta (Unruh) McCulloch in Newton.

He was an avid Wichita Wings fan and enjoyed attending games with his son, Jay. He spent many hours working on and restoring old automobiles and trucks.

Other survivors include: a son, Jay McCulloch of Hesston; two brothers, John Patrick "Pat" McCulloch of Wichita and Bill McCulloch of Melbourne, Australia; two sisters, Marsha Kroeker of Oakbank, Manitoba, Canada, and Lisa McCulloch of Newton; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday with family greeting friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday, all at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Cemetery.

Memorial service will be 3 p.m. Monday at Salem United Methodist Church with Pastor C. Kent Rogers officiating.

Memorials have been established with the American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.
