Obituary
Teresa Loraine Dowell, 86, passed away
peacefully May 21, 2015 in Scottsdale, AZ. Born September 1, 1928 in
Newton, KS she was the daughter of Paul and Bessie Bunting.
Even after moving some years earlier to
reside in Texas, California and eventually Arizona, Teresa always
considered Kansas her heartfelt home. Being raised on a farm, she had
high vales for working hard and giving something back to her
community. She also took great pride in her friendships which she had
nurtured and cultivated from childhood on.
Teresa is preceded in death by her
husband Robert Dowell, daughter Twila Jo Lofton and son Jack Clinton
Woods. Teresa is survived by her aunt Harriet Shirley of Springfield,
MO, sister Pauline Scheffler of Wichita, KS, daughter Doreen Kay
McNeil of Phoenix, AZ and son Darrin Ray Woods of Austin, TX. Teresa
was also blessed with two son-in-laws, three grandchildren and one
great grand-daughter along with numerous nieces and nephews.
