Gene Rosselot
TOPEKA -- Gene E. Rosselot, 70, retired
pilot for the U.S. Air Force, died Thursday (Oct. 5, 2000) at a
Topeka hospital. He was born March 10, 1930, to Walter and Gertrude
(Evans) Rosselot in Fayetteville, Ohio. He married Catherine A. "Kay"
Cooke July 10, 1954, in Newton. She survives. Other survivors
include: a son, Larry Rosselot of Dallas; five daughters, Terri
Roberts and Mary Lou Allen, both of Topeka, Angie Rosselot of
Orlando, Fla., Shirley Conover of Olathe and Diana Thompson of Mason
Ohio; a brother, Roger Rosselot of Fayetteville Ohio; seven sisters,
Mary Angela McDonnell of Salina, Dorothy Alexander of Milford, Ohio,
Margie DeJonckheere, Agnes Petersman and Betty Flottman, all of
Cincinnati, Ohio, Eileen King of Carmel, Calif., and Shirley
Lampkin-Hildebrandt of Seattle; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral service was Saturday at Christ
the King Catholic Church in Topeka. Burial was in Mount Cavalry
Cemetery with military honors by Philip Billard VFW Post No. 1650.
