Peggy Jean Bell, 89, died on Friday, January 16, 2015 at her home in Newton. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, and her husband of 50 years, C.V. (Jack) Bell. She is survived by her daughter, Louise Bell-Nash, of Newton, her sister, Joyce E. White, Wichita, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church, Newton, and Order of Eastern Star, Almond Chapter #27. Her favorite pastimes were reading, sewing and crocheting.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., January 24, 2015, at Greenwood Cemetery.

There will be no public viewing.
