Saturday, April 21, 2001. Visitation with family 6 to 9 p.m.
Wednesday; service 10 a.m. Thursday, both at Petersen Funeral Home.
Survivors: wife, Carolyn; son, Jim of
Durango, Colo.; daughters, Nancy Schlender of Houston, Jane Sanford
of Kirkland, Wash., Phylis Roche of Hailey, Idaho; brother, Virgil of
Hesston; sister, Blanche Miller of Kalona, Iowa; five grandchildren;
four great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; two
stepgreat-grandchildren. Memorials established with American Cancer
Society and Houston Hospice.
