Obituary

Bert Alan Fox, 56, of Newton, died Monday (Jan. 12, 2015) at his home.

He was born on Dec. 14, 1958, in Wichita, the son of Bert Calvin and Alice Faye Noble Fox. Bert attended schools in Wichita and graduated from Clearwater High School in 1976.

Bert married Carolyn Langston; they had one son, Landon. He later married Becky DeGarmo; they had one son, Calvin. He later married Fawn Eck.

Bert had lived in Newton for the past 14 years and most recently had been working at Norcraft Manufacturing.

Survivors include his sons, Landon Langston and his wife, Bethany of Wichita, and Calvin Fox of the home in Newton; two sisters, Jan Jones and her husband, John, and Karen Driskill, all of Wichita; one grandson, Landon Langston; and many nieces and nephews.

Bert was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday (Jan. 19, 2015) at the Broadway Colonial Funeral Home in Newton.

There will be no visitation or viewing as cremation has been effected.
