Lillian M Zuercher
Lillian M. Zuercher, 66, 1201 N. Ash,
registered laboratory medical technologist for Wichita Clinic –
Bethel, died Tuesday (Dec. 19, 1995) at her home.
She was born Feb. 28, 1929, in Inman,
to Dietrick E. Thiessen and Agnes Friesen Thiessen. She married W.J.
'Bill' Zuercher on June 19, 1964, in Newton. He survives.
She was a member of the First United
Presbyterian Church of Newton and the American Society for Clinical
Laboratory Science. She was a Sunday School teacher and church youth
group leader of the First United Presbyterian Church, A Cub Scout den
mother, Cub Scout committee woman, Boy Scout committee woman and
Lincoln Grade School PTA president.
Other survivors include two sons, Chris
of Newton, Jeff of Wichita; one daughter, Marty Peterson of Victoria,
Texas; three brothers, Ike Thiessen of Lehigh, Dan Thiessen and Menno
Thiessen, both of Inman; four sisters, Louise Friesen, and Lorene
Thiessen, both of Inman, Barbara Wohlgemuth of Wichita and Neoma
Boersma of Newton; and two grandsons. She was preceded in death by
three sisters, Helen Thiessen and Anna Ratzlaff, both of Inman and
Marie Schierling of McPherson.
The funeral will be at 2 p. m. Friday
at the First United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. James Anderson
of the church officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Gardens of
Memory in rural Newton.
Friends may call until 9 p. m. today
and 9 to 11 a. m. Friday at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home.
