Obituary
GOESSEL - Jerry Dean Schroeder, 75, of rural Goessel,
retired engineer with AGCO for 45 years, and owner of Custom Hay Swathing and
Baling, passed away Dec. 6, 2014, at his home in rural Goessel.
Jerry was born April 27, 1939, to Edward and Frieda Schmidt
Schroeder in rural Goessel. On Dec. 13, 1959, he was married to Darlene Voth at
Tabor Mennonite Church, Goessel. She survives of Goessel.
Jerry is also survived by two daughters, Denise and husband,
Rick Woelk, Goessel, and Jennifer and husband, Harold Stultz, rural Hillsboro;
one brother, Dennis Schroeder, Goessel; two sisters, Analene Klassen, Goessel,
and Vera Flaming, Dallas, Oregon; one sister-in-law, Sharon Schroeder,
Hillsboro; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother,
Clyde.
No visitation is planned. Memorial services will be at 11
a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014, at Tabor Mennonite Church, Goessel, with Pastor
Phil Schmidt and Pastor Rosie Jantz officiating.
Memorials may be sent to the Mennonite Central Committee, in
care of Miller-Ott Funeral Home, Goessel.
