WICHITA - Esther Gackstatter, 90, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014, in Newton. She was born in Bloomington, Nebraska.
Esther was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Arnold Gackstatter.
She is survived by eight nieces and nephews. Esther worked as a school teacher and a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell for 15 years.
