Wavo Marie Depler
Wavo Marie (Dover) Depler, 86, died
Oct. 7 at Newton Medical Center.
The funeral service was Sunday at the
Christian Church in Peabody. Burial was at Prairie Lawn Cemetery.
Baker Funeral Home made the arrangements.
She was born April 14, 1928, at Kansas
City, Missouri, to Richard P. Dover and Lena Lucille Elkins. She
resided in Peabody since 1982.
She attended school through ninth grade
in Kansas City, Missouri. She married Donald N. Depler on Nov. 30,
1946, in Leavenworth.
She was preceded in death by a
granddaughter and a great-grandson.
She is survived by her husband, Donald,
of Peabody; twin brothers, Ted Dover of Peabody and Bob Dover of
Oklahoma City; one sister, Delores Fisher of Oklahoma City; two
daughters, Vickie Sue Box of Florence and Linda Gay Fisher of
Peabody; four sons, Garry Depler of Amarillo, Texas, Harvey Depler of
Wichita, Rick Depler of Fort Worth, Texas, and Daniel Depler of
Florence; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and four
great-great-grandchildren.
