Ruth E. Voth
Obituary
BUHLER - Ruth E. Voth, 98, passed away Nov. 21, 2014, at the
Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.
She was born Nov. 14, 1916, in Whitewater, the daughter of
John P. and Anna Rutschman Roth. She graduated from Bethel College with a
degree in music. She had taught music and was a member of the Buhler Mennonite
Church, Buhler.
On Aug. 18, 1940, she married Edward J. Voth at Buhler. He
passed away on Aug. 15, 2009.
She is survived by her children, James (Barbara) Voth of
Buhler, Suzanne Lara of Rose Hill, Sally Company of Lawrence, and Mark
(Rebecca) Voth of Edmond, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren;
and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Vernon Roth; two
sisters, Irene Mauck and Pauline Bales; and one grandson, Jason.
There will be no visitation. Private graveside service has
been held at the Buhler Municipal Cemetery, with Pastor Willmar Harder
officiating. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
