Lois Myrle (Rosebraugh) Slabaugh
Obituary
Lois Myrle (Rosebraugh) Slabaugh, 92, former resident of
Newton and Cedar Point, died on September 16, 2014.
Lois entered this world on June 3, 1922 to parents Roy and
Bertha Rosebraugh in Emporia.
She graduated from Matfield Green High School, class of
1939, and married Henry E. Slabaugh (1941). They raised three children all who
survive: Darrell (Debby) Yantis, Tx, Blinda (Dee) Simpler, Derby, Glen (Holly)
Casper, Wyo., seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Henry and parents
Roy and Bertha (Cortright) Rosebraugh and siblings Albert Rosebraugh, Viola
Isom, Carl Rosebraugh, and Guy Rosebraugh.
She is survived by one brother Chester (Betty) Rosebraugh,
Augusta, and sister in-law Elva Mae Austin, Rosalia.
Lois suffered from dementia and resided in Texas near her
son Darrell since August of 2012.
Grave side services at the Homestead Cemetery, Clements,
will be at a later date.
