David Lee Cowley
Obituary
FLORENCE - David Lee Cowley passed away July 10, 2014, at
Newton Medical Center in Newton.
David was born on Jan. 1, 1941, in Great Bend to Joseph D.
and Bertha Edna (Barr) Cowley. He was a retired salesman of industrial parts
and also spent 30 years with the U.S. Army National Guard, Command Sgt. Major.
He was preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Bertha
Cowley.
He is survived by son, Jeffrey Cowley of Kiowa, Colorado,
and daughters, Rustina Cowley of Vashon, Washington, and Tisha Cowley of
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Funeral service was Monday, July 14, 2014, at Hillcrest
Cemetery in Florence, with Pastor Mitchell Diemer.
Memorials may be designated to American Legion-Yute Mountain
Post #75, Cortez, Colorado.
