Obituary
Shelly Lou Lambert, 61, died Friday (June 27, 2014) at her
home in Wichita after a battle with cancer.
She was born May 10, 1953, in Newton to John C. and Dorothy
M. Lambert. She was preceded in death by her father, John C. Lambert. Shelly
was raised in Newton and graduated from Newton High School. She was a very
caring and loving person and will be thoroughly missed.
Survivors include her mother, Dorothy M. Lambert, Newton;
four sons, Scott (Kelley) and Jason (Tammy) Church, Halstead, Patrick (Shelley)
Lambert, Moundridge, and Daniel Lambert, Wilmington, North Carolina;
grandchildren, Garett, Brenan and Abby Church, Halstead, Don "Duck"
Barton, companion, Wichita; sisters, Karen (Ken) Pulaski, Sedgwick, Marcia Mote
and companion, Kenny, Wichita; brothers, Larry (Linda) Lambert of Boise, Idaho,
Gregory (Mary) Lambert, Henderson, Nevada, Micheal Lambert, companion, Sue, and
Kevin (Becky) Lambert, Newton; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial will be at 11 a.m.
Aug. 2, 2014, at the McKinley Administrative Center, 308 E. First St., Newton.
