Obituary
Kenneth David Snow, 93, died Aug. 2, 2014, at Schowalter

Snow, in Hartford, Connecticut. He grew up in Vermont, graduating from

with a degree in industrial arts. He received his master's from Central

children. He also enjoyed building boats, canoes, furniture, toys and tree
forts. He especially enjoyed helping his grandkids with their projects.
Ken worked on Mt. Washington and in the Rocky Mountains of
Nevada and California with the Fire Patrol. He was an outdoorsman who loved hiking,
sailing, canoeing and camping in New England with his family. He enjoyed
sailing along the Connecticut shoreline and throughout the Thimble Islands.
Ken loved the Lord with all his heart. He encouraged his
children and grandchildren to follow the Lord. He helped establish West Woods
Christian Academy in Hamden, Connecticut, which his three children graduated
from.
Ken is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sheila Snow and
daughter, Elizabeth Snow both of Hesston; daughter, Sharon Snow of Cheshire,
Connecticut; and his daughter-in-law, Karen Snow of Park City. His Connecticut
grandchildren are Jennifer Snow, John Snow, Robert Snow and Michael Snow. His
Kansas grandchildren are Daniel Snow, Rebecca Snow, Bethany Snow and Hannah
Snow. His sister is Dorothy Ware of Cedarville, Ohio.
