Obituary
Moundridge – Malinda M. Unruh, 100, passed away April 26,
2014 at Pine Village.
She was born Feb. 24, 1914 at Galva to Henry D. and (Eva)
Koehn Schmidt.
She worked as a custodian at the Halstead Hospital for 26
years.
She married Oscar A. Unruh on December 24, 1941, at Newton.
He preceded her in death on September 9, 1984
Surviving her are a son, Thomas Unruh, Aurora, Colo.,;
step-daughter, Violet (Bob) Baxter, Hillsboro; step-son, Gene Unruh,
Bernalillo, N.M.; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Lone Tree
Church Cemetery, rural Galva. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at
Moundridge Funeral Home. Memorial donations are suggested to Harden Hospice, in
care of the funeral home.
