Barbara M. Stephey, 77, retired Newton High School Cafeteria worker, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Cherie Stephey, and grandchildren, Tonya Stephey and Tony Donaldson.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Richard. Children are Richard (Melody) Stephey of Artesia, N.M.; Sandra (Ron) Morgan of Emporia; Diana (Mike) Nottingham and Robin (Tom) Carmichael, both of Wichita. There also are 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and sister, Linda (Bruce) Bower.

Memorial services for Barbara will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 28, at Asbury Church, 2801 W. 15th St. N., Wichita.
