Treasa Jo Cave
Obituary
Treasa Jo Cave, 61, died May 18, 2016,
at her home in Newton. She was born February 20, 1955, in Wichita,
the daughter of Thomas Watson Jr. and Charlotte L. Blue Miles.
She received her Bachelor of Science in
Social Work from Wichita State University. She had been employed at
Larned State Hospital, and St. Francis Community Services,
Hutchinson, both in Social Work, and also with Counseling, Consulting
and Mediation Inc., McPherson, in Drug and Alcohol Counseling. She
truly enjoyed helping others and loved collecting as well as many
different crafts.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarah
Kimble, Paola, four brothers; Wesley Watson, Pratt, Kenneth Watson,
Salina, Lyndon Watson, Lynn Valley, Thomas Watson III, Burrton, her
father, Thomas Watson Jr., Waurika, Oklahoma, 10 grandchildren, and
numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her mother,
her daughter, Jessica Eidson, and nephew, Mathew Watson.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Sat
May 28, at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel. There will be a book to sign
from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be
given to the Newton Homeless Shelter in care of the funeral home.
