HALSTEAD
Annette Balzer Green, 50, registered nurse and elementary
teacher, died Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at her residence in Salina.
She was born Jan. 13, 1963, in Topeka, and she was adopted
by Richard and Marylin (Smith) Balzer. They survive of Halstead.
She was a former resident of Liberal and Moundridge, most
recently residing in Salina for the past nine months.
Survivors include a son: Christopher Green, Salina;
daughter: Meghan Green, Wichita; and brother: Randy (Sara) Balzer, Halstead.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, at
Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. The family will be present from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Committal service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8,
2014, at Haven of Rest Cemetery, Hillsboro. Memorial service will be at 11:30
a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, at First Mennonite Church, Halstead, with Pastor
Brian Harmon officiating.
Memorials may be given to Camp Mennoscah, in care Kaufman
Funeral Home, Halstead.
