BUHLER - Clara B.
Froese Ediger, 93, passed away Dec. 6, 2013, at the Buhler Sunshine Home.
She was born Aug. 10, 1920, in Burrton, the daughter of
Arthur B. and Agatha Siemens Froese.
On April 25, 1943, she married Leo Ediger at Hoffnungsau
Mennonite Church, Inman.
Survivors include her children, Sharelle Venso of Newton,
Dave (Helen) Ediger of Buhler, Kay (Gary) Wolfer of Buhler; six grandchildren,
Shelley (Shawn) Nelson, Stacie (Mark) Kelly, Caley (Lindsey) Ediger, Lane
(Rhoda) Wolfer, Kelly Wolfer and Olivia Wolfer; two great-grandchildren,
Sullivan and Delaynie Kelly; brother, Harold (Adeline) Froese; and sister,
Marilyn (James) Lohrentz.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo; parents,
Arthur B. and Agatha Froese; and sisters, Evelyn Regier, June Zielke and Pearl
Johnston.
She was a member of the Buhler Mennonite church and
graduated from Willis country school and Buhler High School class of 1940. She
was happy to be a stay-at-home wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma and
unselfishly devoted her life to meeting the needs of her family. Her table was
always set with love, laughter, and lots of good German food!
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., with family greeting from
6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, at Buhler Mortuary. Funeral service will be
at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, at Buhler Mennonite Church, with Pastors
Lee Suderman and Harold Thieszen officiating. A meal will follow the service.
Burial will at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, at the Buhler Cemetery.
