Obituary

Randolf B. Friesen, 87, died Sunday (June 12, 2016) at Newton Medical Center. He was born December 30, 1928, in Goessel, the son of Daniel B. and Suzie Goertzen Friesen. A resident of Goessel all of his life, he had farmed for his parents and was a custodian. He was a member of the Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church, Goessel.

Survivors include two sisters; Linda Deasy, Goessel and Wilma Martens, Inman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Elmer Friesen; and a sister, Martha Goerzen.

Visitation will be held on Friday (June 17, 2016) from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bethesda Home, Goessel.

Graveside services will be held Saturday (June 18, 2016) at 10 a.m., at the Alexanderwohl Cemetery. Memorial services will follow at 11 a.m. at the Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church, Goessel.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bethesda Home in care of Miller-Ott Funeral Home, Goessel.
