Losson David "Bud" Denney
GUYMON, Okla. -- Losson David "Bud" Denney, 92, died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011, in Memorial Hospital of Texas County, Guymon.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the First Christian Church, 802 N. Quinn, with Rev. David Stevens, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery. Arrangements are by Henson-Novak Funeral Home of Guymon.
Mr. Denney and his wife, Hildred, were owner/operators of Denney's Dine-A-Teria for many years. He was an avid golfer, bridge player, pilot of his own plane and loved to travel.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandy Campbell of Junction City, Kan., and Brenda Boomer of Littlefield; two sons, Jon Denney of Oklahoma City and Mike Denney of Guymon; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to the First Christian Church, Heritage Center Assisted Living, or Sunset Hills Golf Course, in care of Henson-Novak Funeral Directors, P.O. Box 1306, Guymon, OK 73942.
