Roberta Baugh
Obituary
Roberta Lea Baugh, 75, died July 30,
2016, at her home in Hesston. She was born Sept. 25, 1940, in Walnut,
the daughter of Harold and Louise Sneed Augustin. A resident of
Fredonia for 38 years, she had lived in Hesston the last three years.
She was a homemaker and member of the
United Methodist Church of Hesston and Fredonia. She was also a
member of the Fredonia Women's Golf League. She married Howard Baugh
on June 1, 1958, in Walnut. He survives.
Other survivors include her
grandchildren, Sheldon Neill, Dallas, Shelby (Justan) Shinkle,
Wichita, and Riley Dark, Wichita; two great-grandchildren, Joslyn and
Finnigan Shinkle; and a brother, William (Joan) Augustine,
Zimmerdale.
She was preceded in death by a son,
Michael Baugh, and a daughter, Carla Dark.
Memorial services will be held at 10
a.m. Thursday (Aug. 4, 2016) at the United Methodist Church, Hesston,
with Pastor Keith Schadel presiding. Graveside services will be held
at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Fredonia Cemetery, with Pastor Charlotte
Coates presiding. Following the graveside services, family will greet
friends at the United Methodist Church, Fredonia.
In lieu of flowers, family suggest
memorials be made to the United Methodist Church, Hesston, in care of
Miller-Ott Funeral Home.
