Larry Dean Lampman
Obituary
Larry Dean Lampman, 70, of Newton died
Tuesday (Aug. 9, 2016) from complications suffered after a motorcycle
accident. He was born Nov. 7, 1945, to Maurice and Frances Lampman in
Madison, Wisconsin. Larry married Sharon Faber on July 3, 1965, in
Richland Center, Wisconsin. Together they had three daughters: Laura,
Brenda and Kimberlee.
Larry started his career as a radio
personality in Wisconsin. The majority of his career was spent in the
manufactured housing industry where his outgoing personality and
charisma were his trademark. He didn't know a stranger, and everyone
he met loved him.
After a successful career, he was
blessed to have time to enjoy his family and his love of
motorcycling. He got in his last ride on Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016.
Surrounded by his loving family, Father Benjamin sent him on his
final journey with the words, "Ride on, Larry!"
Larry is preceded in death by his
parents, Maurice and Frances Lampman. He is survived by his wife,
Sharon Lampman; daughters: Laura (Brian) Armstrong, Brenda (Luis)
Thompson and Kimberlee (Brad) Anspach; grandchildren Brady Armstrong,
Gabrielle (Anthony) Hull, Celeste Thompson, Nikolas Thompson, Brendan
Thompson and Samuel Anspach; as well as by a brother, Harley (Mary)
Lampman.
Funeral Mass was held at at 11 a.m.
Saturday (Aug. 13, 2016) at Our Lady of Guadalupe.
