Obituary

Brandi Marie Jackson, 36, fought a long and courageous battle with cancer, but the Lord called her home on Wednesday (Aug. 24, 2016). She was born on Oct. 9, 1979, in Portland, Maine, to Charles and Julie (Rogers) Thorpe.

On May 27, 2006, she married David T. Jackson II in Casco, Maine, and he survives. Two beautiful children, Elsie Marie and David Eisenhower "Ike," were born to Brandi and David during their 10-year marriage. She loved her children and was involved in every aspect of their lives. They were her pride and joy. She loved the Lord and walked with him faithfully. She shared the love of the Lord to those that she knew and drew strength from him daily. She was active in her church at Grace Community in Newton. Brandi never knew a stranger and once you met her, you were her friend.
