Ann Evelyn (Hoffman) Musser
Obituary
Ann E. Musser, 50, passed away on
Thursday (Aug. 25, 2016) at Via Christi Saint Francis Regional
Medical Center, Wichita. She was born Nov. 17, 1965, at Great Bend,
the daughter of Victor F. and Evelyn (Johanning) Hoffman. She married
Todd A. Musser on July 10, 2004, at St. John the Evangelist Church,
Hoisington.
A Newton resident, she was a member of
St. Mary's Catholic Church, MOM's Group and Home-Ec Teachers Club.
She was a 1984 graduate of Hoisington High School and graduated from
Fort Hays State University. She taught Consumer Science classes at
Burlingame and Maize High Schools and was a substitute teacher at St.
Mary's School where her two daughters Sarah and Marisa attend school.
Survivors include her husband Todd and
two daughters Sarah and Marisa Musser, all of the home; parents
Victor and Evelyn Hoffman of Hoisington; sister Joan Jerkovich and
husband George of Salina and their children Benjamin and Paul Myers,
Adria, Nicholas, Vincent and Jordan Jerkovich; brothers: Alan Hoffman
and his wife Kathy of Hoisington and their children Eric, Kevin,
Nathan and Ryan; Wayne Hoffman and his wife Melanie of Red Cloud,
Nebraska, and their children Landon and Aliese, Leon Hoffman of
Castle Rock, Colorado; parent-in-laws, Marvin and Marilyn Musser of
Newton; sister-in-law Lori and husband Carl Harris and their son
Taylor of Newton.
Rosary will be 7 p.m., Tuesday (Aug.
30, 2016) and Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday
(Aug. 31, 2016) both will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church, 106 E.
8th, Newton, with Fr. Voelker officiating.
Graveside will be 3:30 p.m. at St. John
Cemetery, NW 110th Road, Hoisington. Memorials may be designated in
her memory to "The Musser Family Fund" in care of
Meritrust, 4319 N. Meridian, Wichita, KS 67204.
