Eva May Kinkead, 88, died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at Galichia
Heart Hospital in Wichita.
She was born Sept. 5, 1925, in Moundridge to James and Agnes
(Davis) Smiley.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Wendel Smith and
Bruce Kinkead.
Eva was a retired real estate agent and member of the
Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church in Wichita.
Eva is survived by her daughter, Teresa J. Kelzer and her
husband, Edwin of Wichita; son, James W. Smith of Overland Park; grandchildren,
Sharene Urban, Joseph Hall, Tonya Marchand, Brenda Mauer and David Hunt. She is
also survived by eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; and
daughter, Beverly Hunt.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at
Petersen Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at
Petersen Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at
Petersen Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Hesston City Cemetery, Hesston.
