WICHITA - James Martin Schuessler, 84, retired KG&E
assistant purchasing agent, passed away Friday, Oct. 11, 2013.
He was born in Newton to Egbert R. and Inez (Hanna)
Schuessler. He was a U.S. Army and Korean War veteran. On June 3, 1950, he
married the love of his life, Donna (Perry) Schuessler, who survives him.
He is also survived by his son, Randy Schuessler and wife,
Stephanie of Broken Arrow, Okla.; daughter, Terri Henry and husband, Mark of
Wichita; grandchildren, Ashle (Bob) Dressel, Angie (Jason) John, Nicholas
Schuessler and Austin (Jennifer) Henry; great-grandchildren, Corbin Schuessler,
Natalie John, Chelsea John, Caden Schuessler, Holden Pemberton, Lauren John,
Morgan Henry and Davis Henry; brother, Rev. Albert (Shirley) Schuessler of
Valley Center; sisters, Donna (Jack) Unruh of Newton, Marilyn (Don) Mosiman of
Valley Center and Joyce (Jim) Yock of Wichita; and many other family and
friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Egbert and Inez
Schuessler.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Faith
Church, 325 N. Emporia, Valley Center. A private family burial will take place
at Green Valley Cemetery, Furley.
