Gregory Alan Sadowski, 57, died Friday (Oct. 25,
2013) at his home in Wichita Falls, Texas, after a lengthy illness.
Greg was born on April 24, 1956, in Newton, the son of
Clayton and Rita Cooke Sadowski. He graduated from Newton High School in 1974
and later attended Emporia State College. After college, Greg worked for several years in the restaurant
business at Applegates Landing in Wichita. He later moved to Wichita Falls,
where he worked at Shepard Air Force Base as a jet mechanic for 25 years.
Survivors include his parents, Clayton and Rita of Newton;
sisters, Gail Sexton and husband, Mitch of New Orleans, La., and Gina Crowley
and husband, Kelly of Charleston, S.C.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Tuesday
(Oct. 29, 2013) at the Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, Newton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday
(Oct. 30, 2013) at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Newton. Inurnment will be in
St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. A memorial has been established with St. Mary's Catholic
Church School; contributions may be sent to Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, 120
E. Broadway, Newton, KS 67114. Arrangements are by Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, Newton.
