Kathryn Lynn Tibbets
Obituary
NEWTON - Kathryn Lynn Tibbets, 45, former Pamida Receiving
Specialist, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013.
She was a 1986 graduate of Valley Center High School. After
High School, she attended Garden City Jr College. Kathi was loving, caring and
the most giving person ever. She is leaving a multitude of friends and family,
leaving many memories with all of them.
Kathi moved to Wyoming seven years ago from Wichita and
returned a month ago to be with her daughter and son-in-law, Brooke and David
and grandson Damien, all of Newton. She loved Damien dearly and loved playing
with him. She was greatly anticipating the arrival of her second grandson,
Dominick, in December. Thankfully, she was able to be at the sonogram to see
him and find out she had a second grandson.
She is also survived by her mother, Susan Ann Bell-Milby
(Wes Milby) of WY; step-mother, Elaine Tibbets of Newton; daughter and
son-in-law, Brooke Tolle and David Phillips and grandson Damien, all of Newton;
sister, Judith (James) Williams of Wichita; and many other family and friends.
She loved fishing with her dad (and is doing so now). She
came to Newton for four months to spend time with her dad, Pete Tibbets Jr.,
and help care for him before he passed in 2010. Kathi loved all animals and
leaves behind two dogs, Tank and Toro, a cat, Sage, and two frogs, all rescue
animals.
