Natalie N. Wuthrich
WHITEWATER -- Natalie N. Wuthrich, 81,
passed away at the Presbyterian Manor in Newton on Nov. 30, 2009. She
was born on July 4, 1928 in Goessel, the daughter of Abraham and
Lydia (Unruh) Nightingale. Upon graduation from high school, she
attended Grace Bible Institute. She married Rolland "Dutch"
Wuthrich on Nov. 11, 1947, in Whitewater. They made their home in the
Whitewater area, where they farmed. She was very active in the Swiss
church, where she was the AWANA leader, Bible school craft director,
sang in a ladies trio, taught Sunday school, and was active in the
Swiss Sewing Circle. She was also active in EHU. She worked at the
grocery store in Whitewater as a clerk for almost 30 years. She was
preceded in death by an infant son, Charles Patrick. She is survived
by her husband Dutch of Whitewater; children: Fred and wife Jacky of
Newton; Tim and wife Brenda of Whitewater; Jerry of Moundridge;
Rebecca of Wichita; and Rosie of Wichita; seven grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren; siblings: Lee and wife Marion Nightingale of
Wichita; Warren and wife Marilyn Nightingale of North Plymouth,
Minn.; and Marilyn Smith of Newton. Visitation with family will be
from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Lamb Funeral Home in Whitewater. There will
be a private interment in the Swiss Cemetery followed by a
celebration of life service at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Swiss
Church in Whitewater. Memorial funds have been established for AWANA
or the Ponca Bible Camp in care of Lamb Funeral Home, P.O. Box 358,
Whitewater, KS 67154.
