James Lynn Young

James Lynn Young, 58, of South Hutchinson, passed away Friday (Aug. 29, 2008) at Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis campus in Wichita. 

He was born Feb. 23, 1949, in Newton to John Charles and Evelyn Irene Baumann Young. 

He was a 1967 graduate of Halstead High School. 

He was a retired truck driver for Dillons and Yellow Freight. 

Survivors include his mother, Evelyn J. Young of Halstead; sister, Judy K. Stanley of Everett, Wash.; companion, Pearl Hignight of Hutchinson, and her children, Tricia Kirkland of Wichita and Justin Kirkland of Hutchinson. 

He was preceded in death by his father, James C. Young. 

Cremation has taken place. No services are planned. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
