Vernelle C. Voth 78, Haven
Newton, Kan. — BURRTON - Vernelle C. Voth, 78, died June
30, 2013, at her home in Haven. She was born January 5, 1935, in Montezuma to Alfred L. and Verna L. (Penner) Miller.
She graduated from Partridge High School in 1952 and went to Bethel College in
North Newton for 2 years.
Vernelle was a member of Burrton Mennonite Church.
On July 14, 1954, she
married Harold L. Voth in Partridge. He died October 22, 2009.
She is survived by: children, Doug Voth and wife Diane of
Danville, KY, Vance Voth and wife Stephanie of Hutchinson, Vernita Schrag and
husband Lee of Hesston and 7 grandchildren, Tyler and wife Lacy Voth, Adam
Voth, Kayla Hardinger and husband Ian, Logan Schrag, Mason, Matthew, and Bryant
Voth.
She was preceded in death
by her parents.
Vernelle bequeathed her body to KU Medical School.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013,
at Burrton Mennonite Church, 411 N Reno, with Jim Dunn and Jim Gundy
officiating. Friends may sign the book 9-5 Tuesday with family to receive
friends from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Burrton Mennonite Church. Memorials may be made
to Bethel College H.D. Penner Scholarship Fund or MCC, in care of Elliott
Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
