Obituary: Norma Leigh (Ashcraft) Banman
Newton, Kan. — Norma
Leigh (Ashcraft) Banman died on July 2, 2013, at Schowalter Villa, Hesston.
She was born on June 6, 1928, in Strong City, the daughter
of Willard and Ruthe (Orr) Ashcraft.
Norma is survived by her husband, Sam Banman, Hesston;
daughter, Sheryl and Jim Kelso, Dalhart, Texas; daughter, Glenda and Steve
Cardwell, Whitby, Ontario, Canada; and son, Roy Max and Tara Miller, Amarillo,
Texas. She will be greatly missed by her husband, children, great-grandchildren
and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at Schowalter Villa in Hesston on
Monday, July 8, 2013, at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Walton Memorial
Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Schowalter Villa,
Alzheimer’s Association or Harden Hospice, in care of Broadway Colonial Funeral
Home, 120 E. Broadway, Newton, KS 67114.
The family would like to thank the staff of Schowalter Villa
