(Benfer) Duguid, 85, died Saturday, June 8, 2013.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at
Downing & Lahey Mortuary East. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m.
Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery, Newton.
Catherine was a wonderful wife and friend. She was an
exceptional mother with compassion for all. She had great style, class and a
wonderful sense of humor. All who knew her loved that about her. Cathy will be
greatly missed by all.
Cathy was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Allen
Duguid, and parents, Chester and Grace (Wolfe) Benfer.
She is survived by her daughters, Beth Beeman (Ron) and
Lindy Wiese (Daniel); five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild, all of
Wichita.
A memorial has been established with the Kansas Humane
Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.
Downing & Lahey Mortuary East is in charge of the
