Callista "Kit" Moor
Obituary
Callista Ann Moor (Kit), born to J.D.
and Callista McClelland Oct. 5, 1952, passed away at her home in
Grove, Oklahoma, Sunday (Oct. 2, 2016). Kit, as everyone knew her,
was loved by all.
Kit graduated from Newton High School.
She met and married Terry Allen Moor in 1969. Together, they had
three children: Melissa Hector of Wichita, Terri and her husband
Darryl Reynolds of Wichita and Jay Dee Moor of Grove, Oklahoma.
Kit was preceded in death by her
parents and older brother Albert McClelland.
Kit is survived by her husband; her
children; sisters Sandra Gates of Manchester, Tennessee, Sally
Montgomery of Newton, Donna and Donnie Eikenberry of San Angelo,
Texas; brother Donald and Barbara McClelland of Newton; her
grandchildren, who were her life, Alecia and Devin Wiens of
Hutchinson, Robert Hector IV of Newton, Alexis Hector of Newton,
Haley and Hunter Dunlap of Ft. Riley, Kenneth Hampton Jr. (KJ) of
Newton and his father Kenneth Hampton Sr. (Kenny); her
great-grandchildren, whom she liked to spend as much time as
possible, Jayden, Isabella, Sienna, Maysen, Braedyn, Estella and
Jasey; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Kit and Terry would have celebrated
their 46th wedding anniversary on Nov. 15, 2016. Please join our
family in celebrating her life and sharing her memories from 2 to 5
p.m. Thursday (Oct. 6, 2016) at First United Methodist Church at 7th
and Main street, in Newton.
