Obituary: David E. Girard
KS_Newton — David E. Girard, 73, passed away June 16,
2013, at Goessel.
He was born Aug. 19, 1939, at Clifton, the son of Emery and
Anne Smith Girard. He had worked as a field test technician for AGCO for 33
years. On Aug. 10, 1959, he married Mary Jane Dallen at Miltonvale. She
survives in Hesston.
Other survivors include his children, Mary Ann McFadden of
Peabody, Donata Girard of Newton, David Girard of Topeka, Daven (Jenny) Girard
of Goessel; his mother, Anne Girard of Miltonvale; two brothers, Kenny Girard
and Connie Girard, both of Miltonvale; two sisters, Becky Guy of Clay Center,
Bonnie Kohle of Miltonvale; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2013,
at Goessel Mennonite Church, with Pastors Brad Penner and Mike Hiebert
officiating. Burial will follow at Goessel Mennonite Cemetery. Friends may call
from 4 to 7 p.m., with the family greeting friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday,
June 19, 2013, at Miller-Ott Funeral Home, Goessel.

Harden Hospice, in care of Miller-Ott Funeral Home, Goessel.
