Obituary
Jean Kasper, 78, died on Thursday (Oct.
13, 2016) at Via Christi-St. Francis of Wichita.
Jean was born on March 31, 1938, in
Sedgwick to Claude and Linda (Arf) Smith.
Jean was a strong, feisty and
independent woman. She played and loved classical music and was an
avid gardener. She was devoted to her faith and a member of Zion
Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her children: Mark
and Lynette Kasper, Timothy Kasper and Nicholas and Terryl Kasper;
and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her
parents, Claude and Linda Smith; two sisters; and her daughter,
Vickie Kasper.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m.
Tuesday (Oct. 18, 2016) at Zion Lutheran Church of Newton. A
committal will occur following the service at Greenwood Cemetery. A
visitation is scheduled from 5 to 9 p.m. on Monday (Oct. 17, 2016) at
Petersen Funeral Home.
