Velma E. Willems

NEWTON - Velma Elsie Willems, 92, died April 20, 2013. She was born Aug. 7, 1920, to Peter and Mary Fast Reimer. 
Survivors include: sons, Joe and Harry; daughter, Sunny Christensen; brother, Leonard Reimer; sister, Ruby Watkins Dick; 14 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son, Frank Jr. 
Celebration of life 11 a.m. Thursday at Koerner Heights Mennonite Church, Newton. Graveside service 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Spring Valley Cemetery, rural Canton. Memorials to Kansas Christian Home, in care of Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.
