Obituary: Ralph McIver
KS_Newton -- Ralph McIver, 52, of Newton, died Saturday
(Feb. 16, 2013) at his home.
He was born on July 25, 1960, in Hutchinson. He was raised
in the Abbyville area. He moved to Newton in 1994.
Survivors include his mother, Helen Cox of Hutchinson;
brothers, Jerry McIver of Brennan, Fla., and Everett McIver of Hutchinson;
sisters, Elizabeth Buie and husband, Gene, of Hutchinson, Kathy Alford of
Coffeyville, and Edda Fay Collins of Abbyville; along with his many friends at
ResCare in Newton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Raymond
McIver.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 21,
2013) at the Abbyville Cemetery in Abbyville.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday 1 to 8 p.m.,
where the family will receive friends between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. Friends will
also be able to call at the funeral home Wednesday 8 to 11 a.m.
