Obituary: Gladys (Dester) Regier
Gladys (Dester) Regier, 86, died January 8, 2013, at Kidron
Bethel Village.
She was born April 10, 1926, at Deer Creek, Okla., to Emil
and Edna Wicke Dester. She married Raymond Regier August 4, 1950, at Deer
Creek.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond; son, Bruce (Sarah)
Regier, Moundridge; daughters, Patrice (James) Krause, Lawrence, and Christine
(Bruce) Toews, McKinney, Texas; brothers, Eugene Dester, Enterprise, Delbert
Dester, Washington, Illinois, and James Dester, Sycamore, Illinois; three
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Marvin Dester and
Wilbur Dester.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January
21, 2013, at the Bethel College Mennonite Church.
Memorial donations are suggested to Kansas Institute for
Peace and Conflict Resolution, in care of the Bethel College.
Moundridge Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
