Obituary: Mary Lou Washburn
KS_Newton -- Mary Lou Washburn, 81, died Sunday (Jan. 27,
2013).
She was born June 2, 1931, in Newton to Goldie and Earl
Weaver.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband,
James.
She is survived by two children: Jack (Sid) and Kay (Randy)
Smith, both of Wichita; three sisters, Mitzi Malmin of Hesston, Karen Phillips
of Wichita and Judy Parker of Arizona; eight grandchildren; and 15
great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1,
2013, at Hesston Cemetery.
