Phylis Lynette (Tedder) Malcom, 64, died Tuesday (Nov. 8, 2016) at her home in Hesston.
She was born Jan. 11, 1951, in Garden City, to Howard and Doris Tedder, who preceded her in death. On March 14, 1997, Phylis married Mike Malcom, who survives of the home.
She was also preceded in death by her beloved sister Nancy Leona (Tedder) Bryant. Phylis is survived by her children, Micki (Kerry) Fryhover of Newton, Angela (Curtis) Girk of Newton, James Duncan of Newton and Jeremiah (Tracie) Malcom of Maize; grandchildren, Alex, Abby, Keri and Sarah Fryhover, Andrew and Matthew Hase, Krystina (Kyle) Javier, Charity (Bradley) Struhbar, Kimmie Duncan, Chandra Hill, and Jaxon and Kyleigh Malcom; great-grandchildren Lola Galliher, Kaydence Hase, Kaylynn and Karson Javier, and Andrew Stuhbar. Phylis is also survived by seven brothers: Clifford (Connie) Tedder of Austin, Texas, Grady Tedder of Newton, Calvin Tedder of North Newton, Barry Tedder of Inman, Kenneth (Cindy) Tedder of El Dorado, Loren D. (Lori) Tedder of North Newton, Steven (Mariann) Tedder of Allen Texas and many beloved nieces and nephews.
