Tedder, Howard
Howard C. Tedder passed away on March 26, 2007.
He was born Nov. 18, 1919 at Granada, Colorado to Henry and Lela Elmore Tedder. He was a construction and concrete worker. On August 31, 1941, he married Doris M. Tedder in Newton. She survives.
Other survivors include: seven sons, Clifford, Rialto, Calif., Grady, Newton, Barry, Newton, Calvin, Ottawa, Kenneth, Wichita, Loren, North Newton, and Steven, Allen, Texas; two daughters Nancy Bryant, Irving, Texas, and Phylis, Hesston; a brother Glenn, Texas; 23 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a sister; seven brothers; and a granddaughter.
Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at First Church of the Nazarene, Newton, Kansas. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, with family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home. Memorials may be sent to First Church of the Nazarene, in care of the funeral home.
