Obituary
RoxAnna Jackson, 64, homemaker and
former USD 440 food service worker, died Sunday (Oct. 16, 2016) at
Newton Medical Center, Newton.
She was born Aug. 11, 1952, at
Hutchinson to Thomas and Fern (Gibson) Stoughton.
She was a member of Sacred Heart
Catholic Church and altar society in Halstead.
On Jan. 14, 1978, she married Alan D.
Jackson at Hutchinson. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include, son Greg
(Maggie) Jackson and grandsons Joshua and Nicholas, all of Newton;
brother Robert (Kathleen) Stoughton, Alta, Iowa; and sisters Loraine
(John) Todd, Paint Lick, Kentucky, and Rose (Richard) Nelson,
Towanda.
She was preceded in death by an infant
daughter, Teresa Marie.
Rosary will be 7 p.m. Wednesday (Oct.
19, 2016) and Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday (Oct.
20, 2016), both at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Edmond
Kline officiating. Burial will follow at Halstead Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Food for the
Poor in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
