Obituary
Nathan Albert Martinez, 26, died on
Sunday (Oct. 16, 2016) at his home in Wichita.
He was born on April 3, 1990, the son
of Anne M. Morgan and Vincent A. Martinez, in Kansas City, Missouri.
Nathan graduated high school from
Wichita Northwest High School in 2007.
He loved music and being with his
friends. Nathan was also an avid guitar player.
Preceding him in death are his maternal
grandfather, Dick Morgan; and two Aunts, Angie Martinez and Terry
Scheffler.
Survivors include his mother, Anne M.
Ellis and husband Norman, Wichita; father, Vincent A. Martinez,
Newton; sister, Abigale A. Martinez of Wichita; two step-brothers,
Alexander R. Ellis of Tempe, Arizona and Ian Lund and wife Elizabeth
of Utica; maternal grandmother, Maggie Morgan; and paternal
grandparents, Alberto and Annie Martinez of Newton.
A book signing will be from 1 to 8 p.m.
Friday (Oct. 21, 2016), with the family greeting visitors from 6 to 8
p.m. at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, 120 E. Broadway, Newton.
Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m.
Saturday (Oct. 22, 2016) at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Newton.
Memorials may be made to the Kansas
Humane Society in Wichita, in care of the funeral home.
