The remains of Mrs.
J Nelson were brought here from Gainsville, Texas, last Friday (May 29, 1895).
The funeral
services were held in the Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. B. C.
Johnson, after which the remains were interred in the Walton cemetery. She
leaves a husband and nine children to mourn for her.
We join with their many
friends in extending sympathy to the bereaved family. Mr. Nelson and three
children accompanied the remains here and were met by Will, the oldest son, from
